Idol Manager has Arrived for Consoles In All Its Glory!
Idol fans, rejoice! One of the best and most interesting simulation games, recently released on PC in 2021, is now available for purchase on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5. Idol Manager is developed by Glitch Pitch and published by PLAYISM. To get you all started on what Idol Manager is about, as explanatory as it is, there is a lot that went into this title and in order to tell you how great this game is, you should know about Glitch Pitch and its founder, Max Rogozin. Max Rogozin is an avid fan of the Idol scene in Japan and has become so intrigued with the fandom, that he set out to research and develop the best game to represent the idol scene as best as possible. Max and his team wanted to show the raw realism that is presented in the idol world in Japan, saying that what is represented in anime and games is too clean and cookie cutter compared to real-life. This is not to assume that they wanted to show the bad side of the fandom, but rather, they wanted to show the behind-the-scenes, good side of idols in Japan and what goes into becoming a manager for a group/trope of girls. With that, Idol Manager is the fruit of Glitch Pitch’s labor!
Idol Manager is a simulation game that has players diving straight into the idol world via creating an idol agency and allows insight into what it takes to manage idol groups in a world where rules and guidelines are taken seriously. In addition to this, players will also have to manage, not only the girls they are scouting but their routine schedules, promotional works (which you need to find yourself), relationships—in and out of character, and budget, but you also have to hire the right agency personnel to handle the everyday tasks of running an idol agency. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wypiIMMaIcc&ab_channel=PLAYISM You’ll basically start out with 5 million yen (more or less 37, 000 US) that you receive from a shady character who wishes to create and own a prestige agency to acquire and handle idol groups in Japan. Using this money, you will hire, audition, and promote the agency to the max. You can go bankrupt so don’t do that. You can also make bad choices when competing with rivals, dealing with other shady characters, and of course, dealing with the idol members themselves. Idol Manager will have you handling more than you can chew off such as, researching marketing trends, handling social media efforts for all idol members, making sure morale is great within idol groups and the agency, and even handling the idol members dating Do’s and Don’t’s!
From what we are told, Idol Manager will contain all the same features from its PC release in 2021 in the console release version via Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5. There is a Story Mode with 3 difficulty modes to add while experiencing just how cut-throat the idol industry can be or you can play the game and customize your own settings in Free Mode which will allow more freedom to manage the agency!
