HIDIVE Celebrates Comedy Crossover Series KAGINADO

• HIDIVE announced today that it will stream KAGINADO, the cameo-filled comedy series produced by LIDENFILMS (Tokyo Revengers, Love and Lies, Arslan Senki). KAGINADO celebrates the 20th anniversary of Key, the iconic Osaka-based visual novel producer. The series features chibi-style fan-favorite characters from CLANNAD, KANON, AIR, Little Busters!, Rewrite and planetarian. The series will simulcast on HIDIVE on Tuesdays at 16:30 UTC, starting October 12.
• Based upon the original works of PC gaming company Key, KAGINADO features the casts of Key’s most tear-jerking games reimagined as adorable chibi characters! But this time, the casts of CLANNAD, AIR, KANON, Rewrite, planetarian and Little Busters! aren’t here to make audiences cry. Instead anime fans will laugh along with this spirited reimaging of their favorite game series in a hilarious crossover event that flips the script on expectation and provides a fresh take on the characters fans already know and love.
• KAGINADO is directed by Kazuya Sakamoto (episode director for CLANNAD, K-On! and KANON) with series composition and scriptwriting from Takashi Aoshima (Himouto! Umaru-Chan, No Game, No Life, Kakushigoto). Key provides the series’ musical score.
