• "Ouran High School Host Club", a comic series by Bisco Hatari that was adapted into anime, drama, and live action, is now going to be adapted into a stage musical! The musical will begin on January 2022 in both Tokyo and Osaka.
• According to the official website, Junya Komatsu will play the role of Tamaki Suoh, the president of the Host Club, Masamichi Satonaka will play Kyoya Ootori, the vice president; Yu Futaba will play Hikaru Hitachiin, the elder twin brother of Kaoru; Kaname Futaba will play Kaoru Hitachiin; Eito Konishi will play Mitsukuni Haninozuka, "Honey" senpai; and Sho Kato will play Takashi Morinozuka, "Mori" senpai. The actors playing the Hitachiin brothers are real twins!
• Ouran High School Host Club is a romantic school comedy about Haruhi Fujioka, a girl who goes to Ouran High School and members of the Host Club in the school. Haruhi Fujita is very poor, but somehow she lands a scholarship to Ouran High School which is one of the most prestigious high schools for students with a good pedigree. Stumbling after school into a room where she thinks she can study in quiet, she stumbles across the host club. It’s a club where women pay to come and be wooed and entertained by boys. Terrified, she begins to try to leave and shatters a vase worth over $80,000. The boys recognize that she owes them a debt and they offer to let her work it off in their club; she just has to pose as a boy. Haruhi is swept up in various situations as she meets and gets to know Tamaki, Kyouya, the Hitachiin twins, Honey, and Mori.
