• TMS Entertainment, KADOKAWA, and Sammy Corporation will start a mixed media project "HIGH CARD" based on the original work of Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Takeno, the creators of Kakegurui.
• This project is inspired by the card game poker, and the title "HIGH CARD" refers to a hand which has no pairs - the worst possible hand in poker. The project plans to develop various mixed media with anime, comics, novels and so on.
• Homura Kawamoto, the creator of Kakegurui will be composing the world of "HIGH CARD" with his experience in creating the story based on gambling and mixed media in Kakegurui.
