Assassins are quite a favorite when it comes to mainstream media and for the right reasons. They’re cool, charismatic, and deadly. We definitely can’t leave the last part out. These stealthy masters of the dark have their own ways of captivating readers’ hearts, and we’re loving every moment of it. The bit of a downside, however, is that they’re often reclused and have poor social skills. But what if the assassin is very badass and already has a lot of worldly knowledge?

    Discussion Time

As the title pretty much gives away, The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat follows the story of the top assassin’s death. But instead of going to the netherworld, he’s been isekai-ed. Interestingly, he’s not being recruited as the story’s hero. Instead, the goddess wants him to assassinate the hero. According to her, the hero will be doing evils greater than what the Demon King is already doing. Given that there can only be one hero at a time, they can only resort to sending an assassin to kill him. To do that, the protagonist is reincarnated as a baby and has more than enough time to prepare.

    1. Watching the Rise of an Overpowered Protagonist

Even though the main character is already the known best assassin in his original world, he has to start all over from being a baby, and that’s a good thing! Unlike most isekai stories, the protagonist of this series doesn’t have special language acquisition skills. Instead, he has to start learning everything from scratch. He needs to learn the language, acquire magic, and hone his skills on his own. Surprisingly, his rise to greatness is quite interesting to behold. Plus, we feel like we’re part of his special entourage in his journey to end the hero of his new world.

    2. A Good Mix of Knowledge

Since the main character has been sent from his original world to a new one, he has to start from scratch. But since he’s the best assassin there is, he carries a vast knowledge of science, technology, strategy, and whatnot. He then uses this knowledge to further his skills and devise different plans to ensure that his future assassination is a complete success. What’s more is that we get to see him use scientifically sound methods, making him, even more, cooler in our eyes. We didn’t fact-check whether what he’s saying is true, but it sounds about right to us!

Why You Should Skip The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat

    1. He Hasn’t Reached His Peak Yet

As what we’ve already stated above, the main character has to start from day zero. The thing is that the first volume will end when he hasn’t even reached his strongest self yet. In fact, it will end when he has just been made the official heir of their family name. The only actions we’ve seen are his training and experimentation, and his father testing him is the only battle we’ve seen. If you don’t like being a cliffhanger even before reaching the climax, you may want to put this one in the backburner for a little while.

    Final Thoughts

The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat combines two popular concepts: isekai and assassins. But don’t fret. It has done a good job meshing the two ideas together. Since the protagonist has to start from scratch, it’s like reading his training montage during the entire volume. Interestingly, though, his rise towards greatness is undeniably a fun read!
