In the classic and long-time running anime Chibi Maruko-chan, Maruko's best friend Tamae Honami is a great example of someone who's always there, even through the rough moments.
• Honami-chan is very intelligent and makes sure that Maruko-chan remains in good spirits wherever she goes. She's nicknamed Tama-chan in the show and is known for wearing her adorable teal sweater, simple green dress, golden shoes, along with her glasses.
